About Me: Raised by British-American sailboat hippies in the woods of Vermont, at 16 I was one of the first two students at my public high school to participate in a semester-long exchange with a lycée in the southwestern town of Saint-Gaudens, France. This was my first extended period of time outside of the US speaking a language other than English, and it totally changed the course of my young life.

That séjour followed by a solo, self-designed gap year have since inspired me to spend many more months studying, interning, researching, teaching, and WWOOFing in and around 33 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. These varied experiences in international and experiential education paired with my time working in the world of higher education administration at Middlebury College have helped me to realize that my greatest passions fall under the umbrella of International Education. My time studying at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies has opened my eyes to the depth of the field and I am eager to figure out exactly what I want to do in the field, where, and how.
